While You Dream…
A summer story to understand AI and create with it. Simple examples and small challenges that turn curiosity into first creations of their own.

While You Create is a three-book series by M. Henning, published by Freshlab, about creating with artificial intelligence instead of just consuming it. In six languages, one book for each age.
The series
Each book is written for its reader, not adapted from another one. All three share the same principle: whoever creates with AI decides; whoever only consumes it follows the algorithm.

Adults and families
A warm, jargon-free book that takes away the fear of AI and shows parents how to accompany their children rather than watch over them.

The idea
Consuming AI means accepting whatever the machine hands you. Creating with it means deciding what you want to make and using the tool to get there. That attitude can be learned, and the earlier, the better.
The full classroom methodology is published openly: sessions by age group, printable sheets for families and a teacher guide, in five languages.
Each book comes with downloadable creative challenges (in Spanish, German, French, Italian and Portuguese) to put the reading into practice from chapter one.
Readers share what they have created with AI: drawings, songs, stories and small apps. Moderated, no sign-up required.
Who is behind it
Freshlab installs local AI infrastructure in companies. Yet the question we hear most often is not technical, it is personal: "What do I do about my kids and AI?". This series is our answer.
M. Henning has worked in technology for decades and leads local artificial intelligence projects for companies. The books grow out of that daily experience and out of family life.
Review copies, high-resolution covers and author interviews are available on the While You Create press page.
On the blog we explain why we publish these books and what "create, don't consume" means at work and at the kitchen table.
